We are ecstatic to announce that the NPRS and APOPO have partnered up to help spread the word about the amazing world of pouched rats and the amazing work of APOPO.

APOPO is a registered Belgian non-government organisation which trains African Pouched Rats to detect landmines and tuberculosis. APOPO’s mission is to develop detection rats technology to provide solutions for global problems and inspire positive social change.

APOPO’s HeroRATS are famous across the world for the incredible work they do saving lives.

The National Pouched Rat Society will be fully supporting APOPO by helping to represent them at shows and events across the UK and raising awareness of their activities both offline and online.

This is an incredible opportunity for us, it not only shows the how quickly the society is growing but also it helps us do our bit by raising awareness of the incredible work APOPO does.

We anticipate this mutual partnership will bring great exposure for pouched rats across the UK and the rest of the world while increasing APOPOs presence in the UK.
